WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH CUPPING?

We use the cupping process to design and fine tune our blends and select our single origins.

Cupping is an important part of the coffee roasting process.

Placing coffees alongside each other, we can compare characteristics, flavour profiles and aromas. We use the cupping process to design and fine tune our blends. To help us decide on our single origins each month, we spend some quality time at the cupping table to find exactly what we're looking for.

Cupping is also how we test the quality of beans and the consistency of our roasts each week.

We’re fortunate to work with some of Australia’s most experienced green bean suppliers who present us with beautiful, well sourced coffees from all around the world. They so freely share their knowledge with us. We really do learn something new each time!

These days, cupping sessions look a little different, but they are still a key part of how we get our freshly roasted coffee into your hands each week.
