Kawazamurabawe, meaning "Coffee Raises Up Farmers," was established through the dedication and unity of local coffee growers.
In a transformative general assembly, these growers decided to form a cooperative, officially launching Kawazamurabawe in 2013, with formal recognition in 2014.
The cooperative's primary mission is to collect and process high-quality coffee cherries from 150 dedicated members, including 40 women and 110 men.
